The Fire Isolator Fire Blanket is a high-temperature-resistant fire blanket specially designed to control and isolate electric vehicle (EV) fires. Made from high-quality silica-grade material, it helps prevent fire from spreading to surrounding vehicles and structures while helping to reduce smoke and toxic fumes.
The blanket creates a confined space around the burning vehicle, allowing it to be used as part of the Fire Isolator fire containment concept together with water mist, aerosol units and temperature monitoring. It is designed to help minimize collateral damage and make an EV fire situation more controllable.
The Fire Blanket is easy to deploy, equipped with coloured loops, and can be cleaned and reused depending on the model. Different sizes are available for applications ranging from small electric vehicles such as e-bikes and e-scooters to cars and larger vehicles.
Important: A fire blanket alone cannot stop thermal runaway in a lithium-ion battery. It is designed to help contain the fire, prevent fire spread and provide a controlled environment for additional fire-suppression measures.
